Erna Vial (Hilversum 1942) After taking painting lessons for a few years on the Flevolaan in Huizen in the 1980s, she quickly became more interested in sculpting.

She was apprenticed to the renowned artist Babs van Reede-Jonkman, where she took lessons from 1988 at her studio on the extended Engweg in Laren and in the Rosa Spierhuis.

Since that period, she has created over 100 works, the stock of which has shrunk due to sales to just a few sculptures that are still for sale.
